Daniel 7:9-28
Life is marked by moments that shape our hearts and our vision, yet Daniel’s vision reaches beyond time itself, revealing the ultimate unfolding of God’s plan. He is shown the throne room of heaven, where the Ancient of Days takes His seat and judgment is established. Thrones topple, fire flows like a river, and all creation watches as the books are opened. This night vision is not imagination—it is a glimpse of divine reality, where every nation, ruler, and life will stand before the eternal Judge.
Amid the awe and weight of judgment comes a promise of hope: the Son of Man approaches the Ancient of Days. Jesus, who bore our sins, now receives an everlasting kingdom, where all dominion, glory, and honor belong to Him. Every tongue, every people, every nation will one day bow before His reign. Daniel trembled at the magnitude of the vision, yet God’s message is clear—His justice is sure, His kingdom unshakable, and His reign eternal.
This teaching invites reflection on where we stand when earthly thrones fall and God’s authority is revealed. Will we have only known the facts, or will we have truly known the King? As we consider our lives, may we choose to align ourselves with the eternal Kingdom that cannot be shaken and find hope in the sovereign reign of Christ.
