1 Peter 1:20-25
Life is fleeting, much like wild grass that flourishes for a season and then withers away. Yet amid this transience, one truth stands unchanging: the enduring Word of God and the salvation purchased through Christ’s blood. Long before the foundation of the world, God chose His Son to redeem humanity. At the appointed time, Jesus entered history—the invisible God made visible—to rescue us from sin and invite us into everlasting life.
This passage calls believers to live in heartfelt gratitude, not merely as an emotion but as a lifestyle. True thankfulness transforms the way we think, speak, and act, reflecting our reverence for the One who has freed us. Peter challenges us to love one another deeply, sincerely, and sacrificially—stretching our hearts beyond comfort or convenience. Such love is tangible proof of our identity in Christ and demonstrates the eternal nature of our salvation.
Though our earthly accomplishments and pleasures fade, what remains is the evidence of a life devoted to God. A heart that worships, serves, and loves like Jesus reflects the permanence of His grace. As the world changes and seasons pass, are you cultivating a life that mirrors the unending love and mercy of the Savior?
