Galatians 3:15-29
Life often feels like a classroom, with every mistake, trial, and victory teaching us something about ourselves. Yet in the matter of salvation, the lesson is clear and unchanging. God’s plan was never improvised—it was promised long before the law was given. He spoke to Abraham of a descendant through whom blessing and righteousness would flow, a promise fulfilled in Christ. Long before Moses stood on Mount Sinai, God’s design was already in motion.
Paul reminds the early believers that rules and rituals can never make us right with God. The law was never meant to save; it served to reveal our sin and guide us toward the Savior. Like a wise teacher correcting a student, the law disciplined, directed, and prepared hearts for the arrival of faith. When Christ came, the lesson was complete. Salvation is not earned by effort, but received by trusting fully in His grace.
Through Jesus, the promise extends to all who believe. Divisions of culture, status, or gender fall away—Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male or female—we are united in Him. The gospel is not about striving harder but about resting in the freedom Christ purchased. Grace is the diploma, faith the key, and the classroom doors swing wide open to all who will enter.
The law educated, but grace transforms. Every believer is invited to live in the liberty of this promise, walking not under compulsion but in relationship with the One who fulfilled every covenant. The bell has rung, the lesson completed—yet the joy of this freedom continues for a lifetime. How will you live in the classroom of grace today?
