Revelation 12:1-6
In this message, we are invited to see beyond the surface of history and into the unseen battles that shape eternity—moments where heaven and earth intersect, light confronts darkness, and promises are tested by persecution. The story behind every struggle unfolds a larger picture: the faithful people of God, the coming Messiah, and the relentless forces that seek to destroy. Yet, through it all, God’s purposes prevail, turning what seems like evil into instruments of His redemptive plan.
Nothing in life is accidental. Every trial, every season of waiting, and every wound can become part of a divine mosaic that glorifies Christ. Just as Joseph’s suffering preserved his family and the trials of God’s people brought forth salvation, our challenges, when surrendered to God, can serve as channels of His power and grace. Opposition may roar, but it cannot alter the ultimate victory already secured by the blood of the Lamb.
When we examine the curtain of our own history, we encounter a God who never abandons His people. He reigns over chaos, upholds the faithful, and orchestrates redemption even in the midst of struggle. The greatest defeats for the enemy—Christ’s birth, His sacrifice, and His ascension—remain the surest assurances of hope and victory. Our own battles, though real, are woven into a story that God is writing with perfect wisdom and unwavering love.
Reflecting on these truths, we are called to ask ourselves: Are we able to trust God in the midst of life’s conflicts? How might recognizing His hand in our struggles change the way we face challenges and setbacks? Behind every painful experience is a promise, and through faith, we discover that God’s faithfulness is always at work, even when we cannot see the full picture.
