In Zechariah 13:1–9, we encounter a promise that is both breathtaking and sobering: a fountain opened by God to cleanse His people. This vision shows the Lord’s intention to wash away sin and impurity from top to bottom, purifying hearts and lives through the work of Christ. The cleansing is comprehensive—not partial or superficial. Idolatry, deception, and false teachings are removed, and the faith of His people is refined like silver and gold.
