2 Corinthians 8:18-24
Our lives are always on display—before family, friends, coworkers, our communities, and most importantly, before God. Every choice, every action, every word becomes a testimony that either draws others to Christ or causes them to question His reality. Integrity is not optional for a follower of Jesus; it is essential. The early church modeled this truth in how they lived, served, and managed responsibilities, demonstrating that every act matters when done for the glory of God.
Paul points to Titus and two faithful brothers as examples of proven character—men whose transparency and trustworthiness reflected Christ in every responsibility entrusted to them. Their lives were open books, showing that true integrity is not about impressing others but about honoring the name of Jesus. Their faithful stewardship allowed the world to witness God’s work in tangible ways, proving that integrity validates both ministry and message.
This passage challenges us to examine our own lives. Do our choices, attitudes, and actions reflect the character of Christ? True devotion is lived out not only in words but in consistent, humble, and honorable actions. Each act of service, every decision, and every interaction becomes a witness of God’s grace to those around us. As we seek to live above reproach, we glorify God and strengthen the credibility of our faith before a watching world.
How can your daily life bear witness to Christ today? Are your actions honoring Him in both private and public spheres? May we follow the example of those early servants, living with integrity that points others to Jesus and validates the gospel through our faithful walk.
