Romans 11:25-36
Life often feels like standing before a vast, restless sea—beautiful, mysterious, and at times, overwhelming. The waves rise, the wind howls, and the path forward seems lost beneath the depths. Yet even amid uncertainty and fear, God’s presence remains. “Footsteps in the Sea” invites us to trust the unseen path of faith, as Paul reminds us that God’s plans are beyond our comprehension. Though His steps may be hidden, His heart is steadfast and faithful.
When life’s mysteries leave us questioning and His ways feel unfathomable, we are called not to understanding alone, but to confident belief. The depths of His wisdom and mercy are immeasurable, and His promises—like the tide—are constant and sure. From the rejection of Israel to the salvation of the nations, every detail of God’s plan unfolds with divine precision, weaving mercy into the currents of life and grace into every storm.
Romans 9–11 culminates not in finality, but in worship. Paul’s words rise like a song from the deep: “For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever.” The sea may hide His footprints, but it cannot conceal His faithfulness. As the waves crash and calm again, we are reminded that the Shepherd of our souls leads us—even through turbulent waters—toward the shore of His glory. How might you trust Him with the parts of life that feel uncertain? Where can you see His faithfulness even when the path is hidden?
