Ephesians 2:11-22
This passage explores the transformative story of humanity found in Christ—a journey from death in sin to life in God’s grace. Paul reminds us that before Christ, we were alienated, divided by sin and hostility, but through His sacrifice, the walls of separation have been torn down. The cross became the meeting place where mercy and justice unite, turning strangers into family and creating a new, redeemed community in Christ.
Believers are called to be more than redeemed individuals—we are living stones, being shaped and joined together into a spiritual temple for God’s presence. Christ is the cornerstone, aligning every part of His church with divine precision. Though the building is ongoing, its foundation is secure, and its eternal purpose is clear: to reflect God’s glory and grace in a world longing for peace and reconciliation.
This passage encourages us to remember our past, rejoice in our present, and embrace who we are becoming in Christ. Each of us is a vital part of God’s design, a living witness to His redeeming power. How might you live today as a stone in His spiritual house, displaying the beauty of unity, holiness, and life in Christ?
