Zechariah 6:1-15
In Zechariah 6:1–15, the prophet receives a final vision that unveils both God’s coming judgment and the promised reign of the Messiah. From four chariots emerging between mountains of bronze to the crowning of Joshua the high priest, every image points forward to Jesus Christ, who will reign as both Priest and King.
Pastor Bruce David Bell unpacks “The Morning After”—a prophetic glimpse of the day when God’s judgments have passed and peace, righteousness, and glory fill the earth. Through Zechariah’s eyes, we witness the majesty of Christ: the One who bears the crown of splendor, builds the true temple of the Lord, and establishes everlasting reconciliation between God and humanity.
This vision reminds us that the future is certain, written by the hand of God. Judgment will come, yet so will redemption. Those who oppose God will fall, and His kingdom will endure forever. As we reflect on Zechariah 6:1–15, we are invited to trust in Jesus Christ, our eternal Priest and King, and to live in hope and confidence in His coming reign. How does the certainty of His kingdom influence the way you walk in faith today?
