Hebrews 3:1-6
When the veil of the temple was torn from top to bottom, it wasn’t merely fabric that split—it was heaven’s declaration that the way to God is now open through Jesus Christ. No longer is access to God limited to a single priest once a year. Through Christ’s death, the barrier between humanity and the Creator has been forever removed. This divine act is not only a miracle, but also an invitation to enter boldly into God’s presence, free from fear and full of confidence.
Though Moses was a faithful servant, he pointed beyond himself to the One who delivers not from Egypt, but from sin and death. Christ is greater than Moses; He is the Son over God’s house, and we are that house—the living temple of His Spirit, built upon the cornerstone of Jesus Himself. The torn veil signifies that we can approach God freely, boldly, and joyfully, resting in the finished work of Christ.
We are called to fix our eyes on Him, letting go of the temporary and embracing the eternal. Our faith is evidenced not in words alone, but in perseverance, obedience, and trust in His promises. The door to God stands open, and the invitation remains: come to Jesus. How will you step into the freedom He has provided, and live fully as a member of His household today?
