Faith that remains only in words is like a seed that never breaks the soil—it has potential but produces nothing. True faith is revealed through action, through surrender, and through a willingness to follow God even when it costs. Real faith moves beyond comfort and sentiment, stepping forward when others step back, loving when it is difficult, and obeying even when it hurts.

Abraham’s story serves as a vivid example of such living faith. When called to offer his son, he did not argue or delay; he trusted that the God who promised could also fulfill, even through sacrifice. Faith became visible in obedience, a trust so active that it could not remain hidden. This same courage is called of us—to put everything on the line for the One who gave Himself fully on the cross.
